Directions
to Hidden Splendor Airstrip
From Hidden Splendor, head back Northeast on
the road you came in on: if spotting a car for an
ascent of Mud Canyon, leave it 1.9 miles from Hidden
Splendor - then continue another 4.2 miles to the
pullout for the beginning of the canyon. |

A
fun canyon for practicing partner techniques like
sequencing, seated belays, and spotting. Most people
will take a few rappels, but those looking for a
challenge may wish to downclimb all the drops. Several
short ropes, webbing, & ascending gear will
be neccessary for those wishing to reascend the
canyon instead of exiting out Muddy Creek to Hidden
Splendor. Another option is to head down Muddy Creek
and up Mud Canyon and then out the rim to a car
