Driving Directions:
  From Hite Crossing: Continue South on Highway 95 to mile marker 66.8 (about 2.8 miles east of the "Jacob's Chair" sign). Turn left (north) here onto the Cheesebox Road (San Juan County Road 227a). Follow this road for 7.9 miles to an area of open slickrock and leave a car for the shuttle. Then continue about 2.9 miles up the road and park to begin the hike.

  This describes only one of many combinations possible for this canyon; try combining with Fry or other surrounding canyons for some exciting explorations. Hint: Most of upper Cheesebox can be ascended, though it takes some ingenuity.
