Directions: |

From
just east of Virgin, we turn north on the Kolob
Reservoir Road and proceed for about 20.3 miles.
We turned right just before Blue Springs Reservoir,
heading east towards the West Rim Trailhead (about
2.3 miles). We parked at the West Rim Trailhead,
and then walked back up the road (.2 miles) to start
the hike. |

A
beautiful Zion canyon, dry under normal conditions.
The MIA shuttle route, while technically in the
park, never really enters heavily patrolled areas.
If you choose not to get a permit and have an accident,
no one will find you for awhile, so please use your
head. |
